March 31, Parkview Adventist Medical Center will present an informational and entertaining seminar called Build Your Immunity, Boost Your Life.  As the first seminar of a quarterly series, the series will underscore a woman’s midlife years as an opportunity for renewal – in body, mind and spirit.

"Women crave strength and resilience in life and health," said Tanya Abreu, President and National Program Director, Spirit of Women Health Network.  "This program focuses on the physical and mental aspects of building inner strength.  It encourages women to take time to focus on themselves and to take action to ensure they are strong and prepared for the years ahead.  While learning, they will also experience a wonderful time with friends, enjoying our brand of ‘health-u-tainmentsm’ that believes good health is just a good friend away."

Build Your Immunity, Boost Your Life will focus on the primary role of the immune system as well as the recognition and diagnosis of immune system disorders in women.  Attendees will learn the impact that a healthy lifestyle, including partnering with their physician, nutrition, and the positive effect smoking cessation, can have on their immune systems.
