"We are very fortunate to have recruited a surgeon who brings complementary skills to Parkview and more than 35 years of experience," said Ted Lewis, president of the 55-bed, acute care hospital.
Dr. Feller completed his surgical training at the Montreal General Hospital at McGill University. After fellowships in vascular surgery and surgical oncology, he joined the faculty of Boston University Medical Center and was later appointed Assistant Chief of Surgery at the Boston VA Medical Center.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the Rhode Island Medical Society. In addition, he was given a prize for excellence in teaching at Boston University.
Dr. Feller said that he moved to Maine for greater professional enjoyment. His favorite quote is by long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine, "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift."
Dr. Feller lives in Brunswick, where he enjoys spending time with his family and cooking. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Feller, call 207.607.4136.
