Rehabilitation
Parkview Adventist Medical Center offers rehabilitation services to both outpatients and inpatients. Our services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, the treatment of balance disorders and women's health .
Diagnostic Imaging
We offer convenient, quality and state-of-the-art services in the caring environment you've come to expect from Parkview Adventist Medical Center . Our department is staffed with board-certified physicians and nationally accredited technologists. Our equipment is truly state-of-the-art, including a 16-slice CT, 3-D ultrasound and digital mammography. We also offer same-day or next-day appointments. Call 373-2252.
Outpatient Surgery
We offer a variety of outpatient surgical procedures, from minor to advanced surgical procedures, in areas including Urology, Ears Nose and Throat, Orthopedics, Eye, General, Obstetric and Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Podiatry, Pediatric, Pain Management and Dental.
Anesthesia Pain Clinic
We offer the only pain management services in Midcoast Maine to outpatients at our Anesthesia Pain Clinic.
We offer:- Epidural Steroid Injections – For lower back pain due to spinal stenosis, herniated discs, or degenerative disc disease.
- Trigger Point Injections – to treat myofacial pain syndrome
If you suffer from lower back pain or myofacial pain syndrome, ask your doctor if you might benefit from our services.
Laboratory
Our laboratory offers a wide range of clinical/anatomical testing on site
and has the capability to send any test your physician orders to an extensive
reference laboratory network. Some of our most common outpatient tests
include complete blood counts, metabolic profiles, lipid profiles, thyroid
We are open from 7:00am – 8:00pm Monday – Thursday and 7:00am – 4:00pm

Nutrition/Diet Education
Outpatient Nutrition Education (also known as Medical Nutrition Therapy) is provided Monday through Thursday by our Registered Dietitian. We provide diet education for a wide array of medical conditions (diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, weight loss, PCOS, food allergies, etc). In order to set up an appointment for diet education, we first need to receive a referral from your Doctor's office, after which we will contact you to schedule the appointment. For any questions regarding Medical Nutrition Therapy, please contact the Dietitian at 373-2170.
Sleep Studies
Our Sleep Lab feels more like a hotel room than a state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory, with a posturepedic bed, tempurpedic pillows, cable TV, and a private bathroom. The following morning, not only has our staff gathered valuable information about your sleeping patterns, but they also serve breakfast in bed. At Parkview, patients are provided a one-on-one experience with their technologist, unique to most sleep labs. The Sleep Lab is operated by specially trained technologists and is overseen by a board-certified pulmonologist.
Tests offered include:- Polysomnograms, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), titration
- Polysomnograms, and multiple sleep latency tests.
- The Sleep Lab also provides the only outpatient EEG service in the area.
